GURU

Yesterday I had a chance to watch a wonderful movie “GURU”. The day I heard it’s an adaptation of Dhirubhai Ambani’s life I was determined to watch this movie. So yesterday I went for it. I think it’s a must watch movie for everyone especially for our young generation who yet have to make their careers. I have always heard that Dhirubhai Ambani was a great person and that he had great skills. But this adaptation by Mani Ratnam presented a spectacular three hour version of Ambani’s life. I mean one feels energized after watching this. It starts with,” Sapne mat dekho, sapne kabhi sach nahi hote… magar maine sapna dekha”and the way Abhishek Bachan delivers this dialogue one realizes that he has been successful in fulfilling his dream. Today I found that my brother was always right when he said if you don’t dream you do don’t work for it and if you don’t work for it then you cant achieve it, so basic necessity is to dream. I have always been scared of dreaming, especially since last few days, when one of my dreams has been shattered. But now I think that is also a part of life but we have to move on.
Now I think I can again start dreaming about I used to dream about. May be one day I will be able to fulfill those dreams. This movie shows that one needs to have a strong will power, ability to take risks in life, confidence on one’s own self and on one’s own decisions , to achieve anything in life and to be successful. And the other thing is that one should not mix one’s personal and professional life because relationships are above all.
I loved this movie and I will definitely suggest everyone to watch this movie, those who believe in dreams and those who don’t.
