My Words

I lit a candle
with a hope
it will
light my room!

When it was
half lit
someone told
"you should have
lit another candle,
in another way"

I am still
staring at that very candle;
the one that
lightened up my room.
Will it do so hereafter
until it is burnt?
or others are right?

Not knowing
I am still hoping
this very candle
will give me light
until it dies!
